Interim Judgment
After the hearing, the court may give judgment. This may sometimes take some months. In many cases, the court will first give an interim judgment, in which it decides on specific parts of the case only. For the other parts, the court will often give further instructions to the parties, for example about furnishing exhibits. Interim judgments serve to give direction to the further course of the proceedings and may vary in complexity, depending on the case. The ultimate duration of the proceedings will therefore depend on various factors.
