Acquisition balance sheet
The balance sheet of a company that is specifically compiled for the purpose of a takeover.
Often an acquisition balance sheet is compiled after a due diligence by an accountant commissioned by the vendor. The acquisition balance sheet shows the financial position of the company subject of the acquisition.
